Concordance of Ruth Cohn and Pankajakshan

January 4 @ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

The Vision of “One Life”

Be it a bulb, chalk or fan, the power behind is electricity
Be it a ring, bangle or chain, what is gold is gold
Be it a wave, current, whirlpool, surf or waterfall, water is water.
Call it dawn, day, dusk or night but see that the sun never rises or sets
It is the same timber that becomes a table, chair or bench
Be it a pitcher, pan or flowerpot, fundamentally it is clay
Be the cow white, black, brown, yellow, red or dotted
the milk would always be white
Be it an eagle, whale, cobra, ant or elephant -all are the part of this existence
We are different in faith, customs, rites, habits, languages, color, caste, class or creed
Respect our diversity but forget not our unity
In truth, we are humans and we belong to one another
Let us do away with mirrors and spectacles
Lest we should forget what we are
Lest we should mistake matter for soul
Let us all see each other in white light
Do we all not sparkle?
Practice the vision of one life and go beyond the matter
And see how miracle takes place
Pass on and see how the vision has come true
Remember always, that the color of our blood is red!

  1. This was a great meet-up organized by Raj, Gita and Thomas in India. I learned a lot about the similarities of planetary citizen Ruth Cohn and Pankajakshan, who called himself “the earthman”. To share with others what you have (and we have enough) is an important attitude and needs daily practice. The humanistic medidation that brought me from my family, through neighborhood to society, planet and universe I appreciated very much, Gita! My intention for 2025 is to practice this on a daily basis.
