Being a planetary citizen: What do I experience while deeply connecting to myself and our planet?

March 26 @ 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM

“Being human doesn’t mean being meaninglessly brought into this world, but rather finding meaning in the realization of the individual self, that is a part of the community of all.” Ruth Cohn

Ruth Cohn connects the meaning of our life to the awareness of how we are part of “the community of all”. When we think or speak of this as planetary citizenship, things quickly can become conceptual. We exchange thoughts and discuss ideas based on a view of planetary citizenship. However, when we are “a part of the community of all”, we first and foremost live and experience it!
During this meet up, we raise our awareness of being a planetary citizen by listening deeply to our lived experience through a short guided meditation.
There will be time to share what we became aware of, listen deeply to experiences of others, nourishing our chairpersonship as a planetary citizen.
What do you need for this meet-up
– A place where you will not be disturbed, and you can sit or lie down comfortably
– A notebook and a pen
If you’d like to join this meet up, please send an email to ingeborgkooger@gmail.com, latest Saturday 22nd of March.
Welcome!

  1. Unfortunately, I can’t participate on Wednesday March 26th, because of one of my projects as a Planetary citizen: connecting women refugees who are allowed to stay in the Netherlands and most of the times are struggling with finding the right jobs or education, to existing networks of Dutch female groups of friends. I experience a lot of energy and inspiration in this project – and on a deeper level I feel it connects to my values of equality and being open to the world around me.

I wish you all a nice meet-up and hope there will be a follow up where I can join.

    1. Hi Carolien!
Thanks so much for your message here, and sorry for the late response! Sounds like a valuable thing to do on your Wednesday evening. I wish you inspiration and fun! Have you shared the website here in the community of this project? It would be so nice for more people to get to know this initiative!
      Love, Ingeborg
